Due maintenance easily gets lost in daily business – at the manufacturer who looks after many customers, and at the operator who simply lets the machine run. The result: missed follow-up orders and machines that later cost more to repair. ManualPass Service makes deadlines visible and reminds you in good time.
How the due date arises
- Set the interval: in the checklist of the machine type, e.g. 12 months – or differently for a single serial number in the service record.
- Complete the report: after every maintenance, commissioning or inspection report, ManualPass sets the next due date to today plus the interval.
- Reminder: 30 days beforehand an e-mail goes to your service team and to the operator – once per due date.
Everything due at a glance
| Status | Display | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| OK | green | next maintenance in more than 30 days |
| due soon | yellow | maintenance within the next 30 days |
| overdue | red | due date exceeded |
In the service overview, you filter with one click by “Maintenance due” or “With open defects” and jump straight to the record or the service report.
Practical tip
Open the “Maintenance due” list every Monday and plan the visits for the coming weeks. Operators who have received the reminder often get in touch themselves – via “Request service”.
Reminders at the customer too
Operator access makes sure that your customer also knows the deadline. When scanning and in their overview, they see when the next maintenance is due and request the visit from you with one click.
Frequently asked questions
How does ManualPass know the maintenance interval?
From the checklist of the machine type (interval in months) or from an individual interval that you enter in the service record for a single serial number. The machine's interval takes precedence.
When is the next due date set?
Automatically after every completed report of the type maintenance, commissioning or inspection. A repair does not move the due date. You can change the date by hand in the record at any time.
Who is reminded?
Owners, approvers and editors of your account as well as all accounts of the operator to whom the machine is assigned – once per due date, 30 days beforehand, each in their own language.
Are there intervals based on operating hours?
Not yet. ManualPass currently works with calendar intervals in months.
